Gordon Monahan / Theremin in the Rain (CD)

This is a super masterpiece triggered by automatically controlled sound on mechanical musical instruments, using a theremin by Gordon Monahan, who is known as the sound artist of the speaker swinging with the doppler effect! Well, it is an academic piece that all seems to be automatically controlled by transforming the sound of theremin to MIDI at first, and then transforming its signal by Max/Msp. The process itself is very interesting in any case, and the result of producing the sound through this process - that is simply too good! Cymbals are set up to be hit by waterdrops falling from the ceiling, also the sound of stretching long piano strings and the sound of the theremin, altogether create a wonderful sound - this is a super masterpiece that requires no further explanation!
